Isshiki Akane VA: Ayane Sakura A middle school sophomore living together with her little sister and grandfather in Izu Oshima. She works many part-time jobs to support her family in place of her mother. She's always bright, energetic, and honest. She's very athletic, but she's afraid of heights. She loves mayonnaise.

Futaba Aoi VA: Rie Murakawa Akane's classmate and best friend. She comes to Oshima from Blue Island for medical treatment. She's the daughter of a wealthy family, and her parents are often too busy to visit Oshima.

Saegusa Wakaba VA: Yuka Ōtsubo She's the captain of New Oshima Academy's Female Kendo Club, and president of her class. She's competitive and hates to lose, but she also loves cute things. She's a bit awkward because of her earnestness, and she often draws the short straw.

Shinomiya Himawari! VA: Aya Uchida She's one of Akane's classmates, but she withdrew to her room after a certain incident, and hasn't come to school since. She has a case of anthrophobia, and doesn't pay any attention to fashion or her appearance. She's a super hacker who favorites PCs and machines. She's loves factoryscapes.

Kuroki Rei VA: Maaya Uchida She's one of Akane's classmates, but she doesn't speak to others except for class, and she's always alone.

Isshiki Momo VA: Asuka Ōgame Akane's little sister. She's a 5th grader, and the one in charge of the Isshiki family finances. She's a reliable girl who's great at cooking, and always backs up her sister, Akane.

Synopsis
Friendship is the key to protecting the world.That is everyone's wish. Here in a world where science has solved all questions.

This story is set in Oshima. The happy, carefree 14 year old Isshiki Akane lived a poor, but well loved life together with her reliable little sister, Momo, who does all the housework, and her grandfather, Kenjirou, a genius inventor who only created useless devices. When the weather is clear, they can see the artificial island, Blue Island, across the sea. In the center of that island rises the revolutionary Manifestation Engine, a discovery that solved the world's energy problems.

It is a peaceful future, just like everyone dreamed of. One where everyone can smile and be happy…

But suddenly, the world is visited by danger. An unknown enemy, the Alone, appear, targeting the Manifestation Engine. As none of their weapons worked and they fell into despair, a lone girl takes a stand wearing a red “Pallet Suit” which wields a great, hidden power. Before long, allies gather around her to fight.

And their friendship becomes the only hope for saving the world!
